My Wish for 2019

My wish for the World - 2019.

2018 has been an incredible year for me, a year of reflection, gratitude, letting go, learning, contemplating and reconnecting to humanity and our planet. Through all my learning and growth, my biggest wish for 2019 is not for me, but for all humanity and the world. I would love to share it with you, in the hope that it sparks something within you that makes 2019 better than ever.

I Wish….

That every person in the world finds love. Starting with finding the love within themselves, for themselves. The love for ourselves that makes us whole, that makes us feels a sense of completeness and purpose. The love for ourselves from which all other great things can grow.

I wish for a world where we all truly accept who we are, where we come from, how we look, how we think and we love ourselves regardless of what the world has conditioned us to believe fits.

It is my wish that we all learn to accept each other, and see each other as brothers and sisters, who all come from the same source - Unconditional Love. I wish for a world where there are no barriers or biases based on gender, race, sexual preferences, monetary situation, beliefs or religions. My wish is that we tear down the walls of separation and see each other as family, that we are all souls on the same journey and are all learning, growing and trying to be the best version of ourselves that we can be.

I wish for a world in 2019 where we put service to others above service to ourselves. If we all make the choice to help others, to be of service to the world then inevitably all of our owns needs will be met too, either through the service of others to us or in the universe looking after us as it always does.

I wish for a world where we see value not in the possessions, title and money we have, but rather measure ourselves and our value on what the state of the rest of the world is. Are we truly successful if we are sitting in an ivory tower, millions in the bank, destroying the Earth while other have no homes, starve and fight for their lives? I wish for these barriers of separation to fall, for everyone to have a warm home, comfortable bed and food on the table. For every human being to wake up knowing their basic needs are met and from that place of gratitude taking action to make the world better for others.

I wish for us to reconnect, to put down our phones, our computers and avert our eyes from the TV’s and spend more time in nature, with family, with our spouses, our children, our animals and truly reconnect to the world we live in. Gaia, our world, is a living, breathing energy and she needs love just as much as we do.

I wish for every human to start being and do less doing, be who you truly are, embrace it and live it.

I wish for everyone to find a deep sense of fulfillment and happiness, to wake up every morning grateful for life, for no matter what your circumstances it could always be worse, and the only way to move towards feeling better is to be grateful for what you have, and take action from there.

I wish for us to awaken to the fact that we are destroying our home, our beautiful planet and to drop the veil of ignorance being bliss and open our eyes. Make better choices, waste less, recycle more, plant your own vegetables, be conscious of your own individual impact and do better, if not for yourself, if not for your neighbours, then do it for your family, children and for the future generations to come. What good is living, if we leave nothing for those who come after us?

I wish for you -  you who are reading this - to have the most amazing year of your life thus far. To love more, forgive easier, to embrace yourself rather than judge, to own who you are, to learn and grow from your mistakes and to be the best human you possibly can be, for yourself, for others, for the planet, for the animals and for the greater good of all.
